COmmunity

Where Yoga Meets Somatics

Yoga comes from the Sanskrit word yuj, meaning

“to yoke” or “to join.”

At its heart, yoga is an invitation to gently weave together body, mind, and spirit.

It is both a practice and a philosophy — a way of returning to balance within ourselves and finding harmony with the world around us.

Somatic comes from the Greek word soma, meaning “body.”

Somatic practices invite us to notice how we feel from the inside out, awakening our natural capacity to sense, listen, and respond.

By tuning into these inner sensations, we can reconnect with the wisdom our bodies already hold.

Why sOMa?

sOMa Sessions were born from my own healing journey.

For me, yoga has always been more than movement — I love the philosophy, the way it helps me understand myself, and a practice that continually guides me back to what really matters most in life!

When I began to weave yoga together with somatic practices, something shifted.

I discovered a deeper way of listening — not just to my body, but to my unique nervous system, and the messages it was always trying to share.

This merging of yoga’s philosophy and psychology with the wisdom of somatics has been profoundly supportive in my life. It helped me reconnect with myself, find steadiness in the everyday, and heal through presence rather than pressure.

Over time, these practices have become less about what happens on the mat, and more about how I show up in daily life — how I soften, breathe, and meet myself with compassion.

This sOMa COmmunity is my way of sharing this integration with you.

It’s a space where yoga and somatic practices meet, not as separate disciplines, but as complementary pathways toward wholeness.

Together, we explore what it means to listen to our bodies, to our individual nervous systems, and to the quiet truths that rise when we feel safe enough to notice.

I believe healing is not meant to happen alone.

There is a unique power in gathering together, witnessing each other, and walking this path side by side.

Currently we meet online, however in the future I hold the possibility for us to connect in person.
