How it works?

During the mentoring sessions Sarah integrates somatic, body-based practices including Internal family system, TCTSY with Yoga Philosophy and tools from acceptance & commitment therapy to support you with identifying & overcome the obstacle & barriers that prevent you from achieving your goals, staying on track, and doing all the things you love to do.

During these session we invite a sense of curiosity, we try things out and we focus on discovering what does and doesn't work for you!

Our Therapeutic Mentoring is about setting, resetting, and achieving goals in ways that feel realistic, safe, and aligned with your values.

We walk alongside you in real-world settings, to help you live the life you want.

Your mentoring goals might sound something like this…

  • “I want to learn strategies to manage stress and stay calm when things don’t go as planned.”

  • “I want to create a morning and evening routine that helps me feel organised and calm.”

  • “I want to feel confident saying yes and no, and making choices that work best for me.”

  • “I want to build confidence to join community groups, classes, or events.”

Our focus is on capacity building — helping you grow the skills, confidence, & resilience to live more independently, participate fully in community life, & thrive as your true self.

We know we have done our job when even if you might want us to be there - you no longer need us around!

What to Expect:

The call is aimed to be friendly and relaxed — not an assessment or interview.

You can bring a family member, or if your a NDIS participant your support coordinator, or carer if that feels supportive.

We’ll chat about your existing goals (if you have them), or your personal hopes.

Together, we’ll then decide whether Therapeutic Mentoring

$80/hour - minimum 2 hour session

Sample Session Outline
Arrival & Check in - 15 minutes
Review session plan & objectives - 10 minutes
Somatic Practice/ Trauma Sensitive Yoga - 20 minutes
Work towards goals - 60 minutes
Wrap up, reflect and review progress - 15 minutes
