Trauma Sensitive Yoga is for nervous systems that have learned to survive and who are tired of being told what to do.

Healing doesn't come from being someone else - it comes from being the the raw, real, natural, uninhibited you.

Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) is a,

empirically supported, adjunctive treatment

designed to support complex trauma and chronic treatment resistant PTSD

Integrating principles from

neuroscience, trauma theory, attachment, & hatha yoga,

this is a body-first practice that invites choice and curiosity.

This is not yoga as you may know it - here you are offered options - not instructions.

This is a space to reclaim choice & rebuild trust.

When you’ve lived in survival mode for so long,

calm can feel unfamiliar.

Sometimes your body might still be watching, waiting, bracing — not because you’re stuck or broken, but because your body did it's job back then

- it kept you safe.

Your nervous system learnt how to keep doing this, now might be the right time to learn something new!

TCTSY is not about pushing past that old learnt behaviour.

It’s about building trust, learning new ways of being and day by day reclaiming a life you love.

TCTSY is NOT about forcing trauma to be released or erased.


It is
an invitation to slowly awaken to your body’s natural wisdom,
to
rediscover the,

quiet knowing, that inner wisdom, that lives within us all.

You

At the heart of Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY)

is creating a space where you can be exactly who you are.

During the sessions you might choose to move, rest, or simply be in the space,

there is no expectation nor pressure.

TCTSY welcomes all bodies & abilities, with options to practice seated, standing, or lying down.

As the facilitator we stay present, guiding you, while also moving alongside you in a shared journey.

Trauma often takes away choice; so during TCTSY sessions, every moment is invitational,

empowering you to reclaim your personal power & reconnect to your inner wisdom.

Private Practice

  • 45 minute session - online

  • Sliding scale payment available

  • Funding may be available via Victims of Crime, NDIS, Private Health - speak to your funding provider for further clarification

  • 5/10 sessions packs available

    (5/10% savings)

  • Sliding scale payment $80 - $120

Self Guided & Self Paced

  • Learn the foundations of TCTSY — understand the core principles and why they matter in creating safety and choice in body-based practices.

  • Experience the 4 pillars in action — guided sessions on Present Moment Awareness, Making Choices, Taking Effective Action, and Creating Rhythms.

  • Blend theory with practice — explore the research and participate in the practice of TCTSY

  • Bonus integration session — a 45-minute practice to bring it all together and support your ongoing journey.

Group Practice

  • 6 Live online 45 minute sessions

  • Community connection forum - use as much or as little as you like.

  • Practice where ever you are

  • You are welcomed to have your camera on or off

  • Sliding scale payment $174 -$270
