The Wild You Project

Find your way back to you

Have you ever felt out of sync with your own body and self,

like parts of you are stuck, pushed down, or just… quiet,

and you’re not sure how to bring them back?

The Wild You Project is a trauma - informed, nervous system–led, body-based approach using yoga therapy and somatic practices to support healing where talking isn’t always enough.

I believe you are already whole —
even if it doesn’t feel that way right now.

I trust that your system already holds what it needs, it might just need a bit of support to access it.

How trauma informed yoga therapy works?

We begin by building a sense of safety
within your body, and in the space around you.

Tapping into your strengths, we find small ways for you to feel more steady,
so things don’t feel like too much, too quickly.

From there, if and when it feels right,
we can begin to
gently meet what’s been held within.

Not forcing.
Not digging.

Just allowing your body to process at a pace it can manage - through somatic practices, yoga philosophy, and informed by approaches like acceptance and commitment therapy and internal family systems, alongside psychoeducation.

And over time, things begin to shift and settle.

You might notice:

more choice in how you respond
less reactivity
more moments of feeling like yourself again.

This isn’t a straight line.

We move back and forth —
building support, processing, integrating —
in a way that works for you.

You set the pace.
Your body leads the way.

Ready To Begin?

When beginning, we usually start with a minimum of three sessions, giving us time to gently get to know what’s happening for you and begin building a sense of safety and support in your body.
Before your first session, you’ll complete an intake form so I can come in with some understanding of your needs.
Your initial session is a longer, more spacious session where we begin getting to know your story, your strengths, and what might feel supportive for you moving forward. You may be invited to explore some of these practices between sessions, in a way that feels right for you.
About a week later, we’ll check in to see how things are landing and offer support where needed.
From there, follow-up sessions create space to explore what’s been sitting beneath the surface — allowing your body to process at a pace it can manage.
Each session may look a little different, and not all sessions include physical yoga (asana).
We draw on a range of yoga and somatic tools — including breathwork, gestures (mudra), mantra, and elements of yoga philosophy — offering what feels most supportive in the moment.
There’s no set path or timeline. You choose what feels right — some people come for a few sessions, while others return over time, either ongoing or during the ebbs and flows of life, depending on what feels supportive for them.
